Ugh so not off to a good start. I have started babysitting 2 extra kids during the day plus Madelyn while her sister is away so by the time bedtime comes around im DONE! It's getting better though and we are settling into a routine.
Im so denying the fact that my "baby" is going to be 3!!! His Handy Manny birthday party is next Sunday. He is so excited and thats all he has talked about for weeks. Yesterday he was thrilled it was finally August. "Mommy it's my August now"!!!! He is just the sweetest kid. Im sure he will be just fine to go to pre-school Im so not ready....

That time of year again......
Oh yes here it comes. The time of year where Im a married single parent for awhile. The money is excellent and key to me being a stay at home mom. My boys and I are so greatful for our Daddy who is never afraid to work and do what needs to be done to have what we do. The only good thing about this is Im able to get the boys back into a bedtime routine which they do not have when Daddy is home. We all miss our family time this time of year and the boys who are so attached to Daddy take it hard but we will survive we always do. Luckily we have Meme and Papa who are more then willing to have us over for dinner ALOT and just to let us play over there for change of scenery.

Here I am!
So I have been reading everyone elses blog for so long I finally decided to cross over to the blog world. It will be nice to have a place to reflect.
Today the kids and I are home cleaning for the 4th tomorrow. We are having our family picnic here as we do every year. That all started in July of 2004 when we invited everyone over for the holiday but also to announce we were expecting a baby! Hard to believe that was 5 years ago. Anyway we found out on June 29th and only told our 18 month neice Madelyn who was here while her parents were our celebrating their anniversary. It was a long 5 days we had to wait to tell everyone else. Anyway today the boys and Madelyn are running around the backyard while Im getting stuff picked up and making grocery lists for tomorrow. It is so nice everyone lives so close and we can all spend the day together . The boys just love playing with their cousins. Im undecided about fireworks. We went last weekend and other then the boys complained they were loud they did enjoy them but they werent overly excited either. I guess we will see if any one else is going and how tired everyone is. Dave is about to start a big stretch of crazy work hours soon we need to enjoy as much family time as we can right now.
